Originally from the east coast in New Brunswick, Mitchell would move to Saskatchewan at the age of 14 with his parents and younger sister to plant churches in the west. This would provide him with invaluable experience in ministry during his teen years, which led to a life of ministry as he got older. An only child, Stephanie grew up in a pastor's home, and in her late teens began Bible Quizzing, eventually placing 4th in North America with her team. This foundation in the Word of God helped her to become the valedictorian of her class in Bible College, and has also given her a rock-solid faith.
The McQuinns began their ministry together during Bible college and were married shortly after Mitchell's graduation in August of 2003 (Stephanie graduated in 2002 with her BTH, and went on to business college for another year to complete her Medical Office Assistant diploma). After ministering together in Saskatchewan for a few years, God called them both to Sudbury in July of 2007. An organizational genius, Stephanie coordinates events and plans volunteer scheduling. Since she is also a talented musician, Stephanie is in charge of the music department and ministers on the piano with anointing and sensitivity to the Spirit of God. Ordained in 2012, Mitchell became the senior pastor in January 2015 following the decease of Stephanie's uncle, Pastor David Brown. A passionate preacher and teacher, Pastor McQuinn loves to inspire people to know Jesus! In addition to preaching, he loves to get out and visit people in the hospital or at home, and he also enjoys teaching home Bible studies. Having earned a Bachelor of Theology (BTH) at Northeast Christian College, Pastor Mitch earned his Master of Theological Studies (MTS) at Urshan Graduate School of Theology in 2019. Pastor Mitch also has a number of other certifications such as pre-marriage coaching from Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts (SYMBIS) and is a certified instructor with the Alcohol Chemical Treatment Series (A.C.T.S.) and Anger Management from Life in Focus.
